Bio
Virginia Farneti has been a photojournalist for several years, working for high end Italian agencies such as Ansa and LaPresse. Her photos have been published in her Country and internationally. However, in 2013 she decided to move from Italy to Sydney and here she started to explore the world of Fine Art.
She became fascinated with photography when her mum gave her, her very first camera at the age of five. Since then she has never stopped taking pictures and utilises it as a way to express herself and her vision through images.
Virginia likes how photography has the ability to stop time and make it immortal as well as it having the ability to freeze an emotion. She does this through merging together her passions and her environment to create something different.
During her career she has exhibited her work in Rome, London and Sydney in the pursuit for new challenges and different life prospectives.
